Five feet by eight feet — the largest of the new work on the wall.
Takes its title from the space between chapters of a life: the stretch after one thing has ended and before the next has named itself.
Neither a dark painting nor a hopeful one. Scaled to hold a feeling most people recognize but rarely see rendered this large.
Between chapters of a life, there’s a place people find themselves lost in. Not good. Not bad. Just life — rendered at five by eight feet.
