The earliest layer: a girl behind the white circular lines, fading. A tiger feeding on her. Her hand reaching out to a small ash knot beside the eye.
Years later, the blue-faced figure on top. Then the large male figure now fading. The tiger still there. The tear under the eye, less visible.
None of it was planned. The figures emerged before the meaning did.
