Where it goes: a fabricator who can formulate gelatin from ratios, pour and tint silicone with real flesh depth, capture pore-level texture from life, paint flesh that doesn’t read as rubber, and make (or intelligently buy) practice skin that behaves under a tattoo machine.

The two materials
Gelatin: cheap, remeltable, naturally translucent, melts near body heat and tears — the sketchbook. Silicone: permanent, skin-safe grades exist, needs technique — the finished painting.

The law of this path: in order, one task at a time, tick only when the DO is done, not when the video ends. This is a hands path — almost every stage ends with a pour, and a $20 batch of gelatin teaches more than 10 videos. Safety is part of craft: hot gelatin burns, silicone needs ventilation and nitrile gloves, alginate is the ONLY material that touches living skin, and nothing from a hardware store ever meets a tattoo needle.
